I just turned my brother on to The Trader's Den, and he's been doing pretty good (so far) with d/l'ing shows...until today.
He's succesfully loaded several shows, and been able to listen to them. But now, when he attempts to begin loading procedures from the site into uTorrent, he gets a "Invalid Menu Handle" message.
He's wondering what the heck this is, and why it's doing it. I've never encountered anything like it, so I was hoping someone here can help him/us.

| Is he doing anything in particular when this occurs? My first guess would be this; "handle" is a term used in Windows programming. If he's selecting a menu item or clicking a button on a toolbar when this occurs it's probably a problem with the software. In that case you'd probably want to reinstall. |

| They've got some very cool mods at TTD and a "technobabble" section that answers a lot of questions like the one you're asking. If someone here has run into the same problem and can help - that'll be great. If not - I recommend checking with the TTD mods and the technobabble section. |

I havent d/led in a while but as far as I know I use Utorrent myself but never had that message....I never d/led from TTD yet though with Utorrent but I know that some sites have some compatibility issues with some torrent clients....Could also be a config issue with router or something???
Like Randy mentioned read the FAQs there and Im sure the answer will be in there...Sorry we couldnt assist you further :(
You can also try the HELP file on Utorrent maybe they have that error listed and have remedy :D

I already told him to inquire with the TTD people, and to check the FAQ's, but it was really picking at my brain which is why I thought I'd see if anyone else might know what's up.
I've been using uTorrent @ TTD, and I haven't encountered this yet. Like I said, he's already d/l'ed several shows from there since signing up there last week, and this was the first time this particular problem happened, and it has him puzzled. |
