Well I finished my book! WHEW!! Took about 4 months to get the info down and do the layout and try to get my files back after my computer crashed, but its done.
Its basically a pictorial history of VH boots on vinyl and right now only available in hardback w/dust jacket through the link below. I'm HOPING to have the softcover version out in the next few months which will be $10.00 cheaper. I'm not a writer nor am I a photographer but it was alot of fun to put together. I was considering doing another that would include CD's and DVD's and its cover art. I would need to get together with Ron H. and see what you all thought.
The book is a full color book with approx. 120 pictures with just detailed info on each LP. I have 51 boots including variations (colored vinyl). And yes there is pictures of every boot listed. I also have listed (to my knowledge) all recorded concerts on cassette, LP, and CD. Just date, location and venue. In the book I do thank all of you here in the community for doing a great job of keeping Van Halen going through the lean years. Thanks to all of you!!!!!

Please remember I did not go into great detail about the concerts themselves, due mostly to space available. Its mostly a whats out there, whats on it, dates, recording, vinyl availibilities, labels...etc. Could not get a hold of Roger out in California, I needed him for a couple of the shows he did but oh well. This was originally a one off for myself but thought maybe some others might be interested....

Thanks guys, very much appreciated. Yeah the book is only 7 x 7 and verrrry compact, but the material to make it seems to be pretty high quality. I am looking at doing one about the CD's with artwork, both silver and homemade. There has been some wonderful artwork supplied by alot of people that would rival any legit release. I have started getting some things together and a format. Definitely would do softcover right from the start. I do need to get with Ron and and get permission to use his invaluable site, without it.....ouch.
Any title ideas????
