Okay most of us have been here a long time so I'm hoping some will fess up to this question. I got the idea from seeing the Rick Springfield thread. At one time I wouldn't have admitted to listening to him...but now the song comes on the radio, and its like YEAH, I wish I had Jesses Girl.
I have a friend back in the early 90's, long hair, leather, Iron Maiden all the way-----but loved Abba's SOS ?!?!??!?! Most people who knew, looked at him like he was a leper....
SO WHAT IS THE SONG YOU LOVE TO LISTEN TO BUT HATE TO ADMIT IT.
Mine----a couple---Art of Noise Peter Gunn (that twangy guitar gets me every time)
Love Do-Op from the fifties, that style of music is not heard anymore....don't even compare it to boy bands.....its not even close...yeah theres some Abba and one hit wonders from the 70's. BUT THERE IS NO CELINE DION!!!!!!!!!!!!

| The Bee Gee's are my guilty pleasure, "Tragedy" is my drug of choice. So bad, yet so good... |

| If I wasn't hopped up on flu medication, I probably wouldn't admit it, but one of my biggest guilty pleasures is ABC's Lexicon Of Love album. |

My two "Left Field" songs are, (don't laugh...) ;
Frank Sinatra : "It Was a Very Good Year".
Holly Cole Trio : "Purple Avenue".
A friend once came over to my house, and studied my vast collection of CD's, and called me a "Musical Rain Man" !! At the time, I didn't know if I should have been insulted or amused. :eek: |

That is a tough question. I do like Rick Springfield's "Jessie's Girl."
Others that come to mind:
Kenny Loggins, "This is it"
Supertramp "The Logical Song"
