Reviews from fans at motley.com

West Palm Beach, FL 7/1/08

I was in Section 2 Row S (about the 15th row of seats) it was a solid showing from 4 out of the 5 bands. I would say Buckcherry was the worst. The way Josh Todd sings makes it very difficult to understand a thing he is saying. I am not a big fan of Papa Roach but they made me a huge fan tonight. They had a great set and tons of energy. During Sixx AM, it seemed like Nikki was just hanging back and letting the other guys enjoy the spotlight. A lot of people around me that were not familiar with them were commenting on how good DJ was on the guitar. Motley only played till 10:30 and the curfew in WPB is 11:00 so they could have played a few more songs. The most disturbing part of the concert was watching a 20 something year old guy (there with is girlfriend) make out with is 50 somthing year old mom during the show. I wish I was kidding, but it was really gross.

The set was:
Kickstart My Heart
Wild Side
Shout At The Devil
Saints of Los Angeles
Live Wire
Tommy and the Titty Cam
Motherfucker of the Year
Don't Go Away Mad
Same Ol Situation
Primal Scream
Looks That Kill
Girls Girls Girls
Dr. Feelgood

Encore - Home Sweet Home

I can't believe these people on here whining and complaining about the set list.

I had an awesome time watching Motley Crue last night. The stage setting was totally bad fuckin' ass! They had and amazing fireworks stuff going on and the stage lights were amazing too. About the end of the show on the sides of the stage they had video screen like a slide show of all their pics from the begining upto now, that was amazing to watch also.

Sixx A.M. stage set was simple and it was neat to see it on a different light (way). Nikki Sixx looked amazingly hot and James Micheal looked awesome, DJ Ashba looked hot. It was also neat to watch DJ Ashba playing a bit on the keyboard and quickly playin' the guitar. That was amazing to see.

Wanted to make a reply last night but was exhausted after a long day and a killer show. I ended up getting a third row ticket the day before the show. That's luck!
Everyone was great, especially the Crue who never dissappoint. This show definatly tops the first time I got to see the band at Sunrise in December '98.
I took a ton of video that I posted here http://www.youtube.com/user/sflpumpkinmatt

And these are all the bands, with the exception of Buckcherry's because I can't sit through them. They're like a bad imitation GNR to me. I heard the reason that Buckcherry was on before Motley anyways was because SiXX AM was using Papa Roach's drummer. Cool for that guy.

I'm going to see them in CT in August & I hope Crue adds some songs to their setlist because Trapt & Papa Roach arent playing that night. I don't think Sixx A.M. is either. So with just Buckcherry & Crue I'm gonna be a little upset if they only play for like 1 hr 15 min & 13 songs..

They're losing credibility in my book. After seeing that set yesterday I've decided against going to Sarnia and Cleveland.

I haven't seen the Crue since the Generation Swine CD release party. Which I though that album totally blew. Anyway, I was bummed about not seeing them on the last tour of the reunion. So I was thinking about seeing this time, but decided not to because of all the other bands playing with them. That I am not really interested in seeing. Now seeing how short of a set list, I am glad I skipped seeing them again. Although, I think there new album is very good. Especially compared to Generation Swine. Maybe I will catch them on the next tour?

I have to agree, I saw them on the Reunion tour with the 23 song set list, and that kicked ass. I like the concept of the Crue fest, but I'm not interested in the other bands as well, so I'd rather just see Motley. And with their new cd kicking ass, I would have hoped they would have played more off of it than just 2 songs. So I think I'll skip this tour and hope for a Crue with 1 opener show next year.

What's pathetic is that this set is the exact same as their tour with Aerosmith only "Louder than Hell" and "Sick Love Song" were swapped with the new ones.

What a joke.
