You know what the most frustrating thing is for me...it sounds like they were SO close several times with a real reunion...a real "re-uniting" of the band and old friends...and it sounds like that's all he really wants, man...just get the guys back together and jam...that is just frustrating that they haven't realized that we only get one time around on this ride...

First of all, thanks for posting this interview. The reunion is making me really happy but i miss Mike anthony. The only way that the mighty Van-Halen will relive is when Mikey will be in the band.Wolfie is great, don't get me wrong but it's not the stage presence of Mikey.Mike is playing the way he always did with fury and that's what i missed.I hope some day they will get together and give us "The Mighty Van-Halen".

Does anyone have a copy of the Palms show at Las Vegas that Mike mentions?

Excellent read and further proof that Michael A is the most decent person in rock.

Nice interview and also very frustrating at the same time for obvious reasons. I'm glad to see Mike is recording in the studio.

But what it comes down to is, the majority of the concert goers are there for Ed and Dave. It wouldn't matter if Mike or Alex were replaced, they just want to see Dave sing the standards and hear "Eruption."

Well, for me I almost didn't go to the Cleveland show because in my opinion, Michael Anthony was critical to their sound for the 30 years he was in the band. Had both Michael & Alex not been part of this reunion, there's no way I would have gone.

Mike is a great guy and a class act. If only the other members of VH were like him...
