I will always prefer Van HALEN to Van Hagar, but I also dig OU812 and F.U.C.K. very much.
There's a more frantic energy to the first six albums, and I dig that. I also happen to think Eddie's playing was better on the first six records, but I'm not saying any Hagar era records have bad playing, only what I prefer is the Dave era. |
