here we are, again after the 2004 tour, we thought about a new VH record, then, the reunion with DLR
surprised us, and with great pleasure, we enjoyed the 2007/2008 tour. spectacular :thumb:
now what?
we all know that when it's time to talk about VAN HALEN, everything may happen, or maybe not...
the band, Eddie, I think raised enough money, to produce and put out a NEW RECORD :thumb:
what we all hope, is that DLR will be on vocals, and of course, that Eddie will be in perfect musical shape.
I think, after 12 years since Me wise magic and Can't get this stuff no more, that we deserve a full new record.
No excuses Eddie, Dave and Alex: put out a new record! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: |

Eddie has a ton of tapes with song ideas but doesn't have the patience to go through
them all. Let Wolfie go through them to choose some selections to work on. :thumb: |

:D honestly, Ed could make a new record with Al, musically speaking...then all he needs is Dave vocals...
it's really a shame that he did not release a new full record in more than 10 (TEN !) YEARS!!!!!!!! (VH3, was released on march 17th, 1998)...
it's now 13 from the last "acceptable"Van Halen "Balance"...
It's 24 years, since Van Halen released a full record with DLR on vocals...
after so much time, what kind of expectations we might have?????????????? :eek:
I really want to believe In a NEW AWESOME and SURPRISING van halen record!
i STILL HAVE NOT ABANDONED HOPE :yell:

Specially for all the die-hard fans, outside America, who missed out on the 2007/2008 tour.......................it's about time.

| I'm glad that proposed "greatest Hits" with Dave album was shelved, for the time being anyway. I want new material with Dave. Hopefully Warner Bros will hold true to their threat of not releasing anything unless it's sung by Dave or Sammy.... |

I agree 100%.
It seems like that, at a minimum, they could release some of the songs off of Complete Zero that have not been officially released. That should be at least 6-8 songs right there.... |

I think that we were ultra, ULTRA, lucky to get a VH tour in '07-'08, and a new reocrd is somewhat unlikely. Cashing in on the past made the guys even more rich, and I just don't think Ed would devote the months needed to recording w/Dave. I hope I'm wrong and that new music from them comes out, but I'm not counting on it. I'm not interested one bit in hearing Wolfie on recorded new music, but that's not my choice unfortuanately.
Impossible to say what weird shit Ed & Alex will pull, but they made the killing they wanted from a tour w/Dave, Ed wanted Wolfie along to play w/nightly and he got it, and that's probably it. |

| Hopefully an audio/video of the last is in the works. At least to hold us off, until hopefully a new record. Although with VH, you never know what 's going to happen? At least we get them in Guitar Hero: World Tour for now. Keep my fingers crossed for GH: VH Edition too.... |
