In your opinion, what has been the best performance by the band ( specifically EVH and DLR ) that was caught on tape and put onto DVD? I would love to hear it.
Thanks guys,

| There are so few CVH era dvd's compared to the Van Hagar and VH III eras. I think as far which CVH video is the best, its got to be Largo 82. My favorite performance is the US festival 83. To me the US festival show has more energy and excitement. |

Are you talking about the 07/08 tour? I would guess something after the Tiger Woods show [Apr] because from them on, Eddie's playing was much better than before. |

Sorry I should've been more specific because I did mean from the 07-08 tour.
Thanks,

Of all the ones I have watched, this is still my overall favorite DVD from the '07-'08 tour:
2007-11-25 - San Diego, CA - Cox Arena - 2 DVD - 2 Cam mix - Silver Stallion
Both filmers did an outstanding job capturing the footage, and Randy (guitard) did an amazing job mixing and authoring it. |

I'll second that, 11/25/07 gets my vote too. |

| Largo, '82 and the US Fest are my faves with an edge going to Largo as Dave is not wasted onstage as he was @ US Fest. Not that US Fest is bad, it's stellar and Dave gets better with each song, I just prefer Largo a bit more. Both shows are VH at their absolute peak. |

| CMRbuzz, I added (of the 2007-08 Tour) to the topic heading so people don't get confused about what you are asking. ;) |

Yes but is this there best performance? From what I've seen, they were on when they were at MSG and Izod in 2008.
Thanks for the responces,

I don't know if it is the best performance, but it certainly is the best recording I have seen. It was done very well...for a bootleg. |

Has anyone seen the VH vids after their break in early 08? I have heard that their performances were superior then. Which would you guys recommend from after the break? Thanks, and if anyone is interested I would love to do a B&P or trade my maiden show (flac from 5/31/08) for one of those dvds.
