Hey all.

I'm looking to trade for some vintage Allman Brothers and ZZ Top DVDs. Specifically, I'm looking to upgrade a couple of old VCD sets I got a while back.

The first is a partial ABB Fillmore East performance where the following comes from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6w9hkSmMe0

The second is ZZTop at Rockpalast 4/19/80; see: http://www.geetarz.org/reviews/misc/zz-rockpalast-vcd.htm

If anybody has these on DVD and is willing to trade, please pm me and I'll forward my list. If you have other early ABB footage with Duane or ZZ Top performances from the 70's or early 80's please let let me know, b/c I would love to trade for them as well.

Thank you for your time.

Bill

I too would love to get my hands on some old ZZ Top.

Hell, I would probably trade for a so so copy of the ZZ Top show.

Also, I wanted to add.... if you know where I could go online to trade for these in case no one has or is willing to trade them here, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Mike (dokkendude), PM sent.

Anyone else have any ZZ Top or know where to find it? How about that Allman Brothers Fillmore East show with Duane? Ory, are you out there? I think I got that (on VCD) from you years ago (I think). Any help would be great. Also, if anyone knows of any other DVD footage with Duane, I'd love to hear about it and trade for it.

Thanks to all.

Here's what ABB band I've been able to find out there:

1. Fillmore 1971 Love Valley Pop Fes. 1970 (DVD-R) (Crossfire) - http://www.abbdiscography.com/dvdfillmoreeastlovevalley.htm

2. Scotiadave's Love Valley DVD Project - http://www.abbdiscography.com/dvdrlovevallley07191970.htm

Here's what ZZ Top I could find:

1. NOVEMBER 11TH 1976 ~ ZZ TOP LIVE IN LARGO MARYLAND - 1 song (Chevrolet)

2. DECEMBER 31ST 1977 / JANUARY 1ST 1978 ~ ZZ TOP LIVE IN SAN ANTONIO TEXAS - 1 song (Arrested For Driving While Blind)

3. The Rockpalast show in my original post (some versions with extras??? - the above???)

The only reason I'm asking here first is that this has always been a community of folks with great knowledge and contacts. I've done the searching and the above is what I've been able to find. Can anyone else help me with a trade or point me in the right direction?

Thank you for your time.

Bill

I saw some stupid VH1 show on the "dumbest" or greatest or #&*#()#)_ whatever 50 live rock moments and they had footage from ZZ Tops tour in the 70s - the one w the vultures, cattle, rattlesnakes, etc. on the stage.

Can't remember the song they were playing though - but I was wondering if the show that this footage is from was available. Looked Proshot - for the time.

I'd be interested in vintage ZZ or ABB too.

3. Cheap Sunglasses
4. Arrested For Driving While Blind
5. La Grange
6. Fool For Your Stockings

Anyone know if there's any earlier footage of ZZ before that '80's one?
Love the early stuff before they turned the guitar into that 'buzzybee-in-a-bottle' sound. Tejas is one of my all time fave albums.
