Hell sounds like a deal to me. It's better than spending $750.00 for a $100.00 ticket to a Van Halen concert. $10.13 is pretty friggin' cheap.

Are you kidding me? That is so unfair. Sammy has his online radio station which he was going to charge for at first, but then made it.....FREE. His Livin It Up Tour was $25 a ticket. TWENTY FIVE. That's unheard of....and he brought a beach with him LOL. Ten bucks so I don't have to go through a scalper - that's a bargain my friend.

There are a few bands that still are able to keep ticket prices down. AIC and Velvet Revolver toured and the top ticket price at Mohegan was only $50.00 for both bands. Last year I paid $6.00 for Project Revolution and this year $11.00 per ticket. Once inside I was able to upgrade my lawn ticket for $5.00 to 10 rows behind the soundboard.

I doubt i will see a show in Scotland. Maybe a good thing if you are in the USA. I like Sammy so don't get me wrong but i think sometimes there is a smell of bullshit!! If he can do the radio thing for free then why not this if he really cares about the fans. The money cannot be an issue after the sale of the Tequilla brand.

The radio station costs are paid for by the affiliates that re-broadcast the channel over traditional airwaves.

I think for a fan club the $10.13 is a great price, especially when you take into fact that bands like Fleetwood Mac and Eagles charge in the $70 range.

One thing I think is funny is one of the reason why the club was formed was to beat the scalpers. I hate to say this but Sammy tickets are no really scalped for the most part outside of his Cobo shows.
First of all Sammy is not high on the list for brokers to try to buy up large amount of tickets, just not that much $$ in Sammy shows on teh secondary market. Sammy also plays quite a few GA shows so that kills out that market. Then if a Sammy fan is going to pay out for a Sammy show they will buy up his VIP package and get on stage instead of paying for 5th row seats.

Pearl Jam charges 20 something for theirs and as well as everything included in Sammy's they send you a couple songs for christmas. Last years was a live version of "Rockin In The Free World" and a studio version of "Love, Reign O'er Me".
