OK I'm not that PC smart.
2 days ago I burned an Audio CD with the same software I've been using for years.
Now today I go to use the same software, ang it can't detect any Hardware. So I went to my DVD burning Software and it can't find any hardware either.
On top of that, I can't find in the Software, where to reconfigure it to accept my hardware,
And when I HAVE found the option and click on it to search it says "it cant find it"!???????????

| Could be a virus.....or it could be your discs...are you using the same type of disc ? Different Brand ?? Different spindle ???? Maybe you need to update your software and/ or Burnner's firmware ? |

Same Discs but heres my thought.
I downloaded a full 30 Day Free Version of DVIX Movie Maker and I think that took my settings ans screwed with them BIG TIME!
I'm sitting here with no way to burn Audio/Video!
I wonder if I deleted and re-installed the software, if THAT would help?

| Try the system restore feature, and set it back before you installed the program. |

A similar thing would happen with me with the previous PC that I had before I sent it back to Dell and told them to shove it up their ass.
That particular PC had Vista on it, and each time I inserted an SD flash card (a different one each time) into the flash drive it would wipe out all of my drives (D, E, F, etc.), and I'd have to reboot in order to get them back. Sometimes I'd have to reboot several times until they reappeared. Even after a tech came out and installed a new drive, it still occurred, and he was a witness to it. He was at a loss to explain why it was doing this. |
