| Lip sync? More like lips-out-of-sync. Geez...what a bad mime job. Wonder how sober the boys were for this one. Nice video though. I've never seen those clips before. |

COOL!!!! I've never seen this footage before.... I didnt know it even existed! Shame cos it would have gone nicely onto my PAL Rarities had I known about it a couple of years ago.
Wonder what the date of the recording for this was? There are no Spanish dates listed for that tour on Dirq's list. They were in France from 31/5/80 to 6/6/80 which would be the nearest they got to Spain.
Interesting that they did the same two songs that they lip synced to on German TV's ZDF Rock-Pop 21/6/80.

Cool clips.
Am I off base, or does this look like a new re-broadcast? With the black bars down the side, it looks like when an HD channel shows 4:3 footage and adds them to the sides to fill the 16:9 frame (plus the word "nostalgia" in the corner). Also it looks a little "squashed" like someone recorded the 16:9 signal into a 4:3 stand-alone DVD/VCR.
I mention it because if that's the case, there may be a good copy on DVD out there. |

Yeah I thought it looked like a recent re-broadcast too, for the same reasons you did. The aspect ratio on the Youtube clip is totaly messed up. A high quality clip on PAL DVD would be awesome, maybe someone with a decent grasp of Spanish could get in touch with the uploader?

Man, that is killer footage... Awesome seeing Ed play the Star Guitar.
It's amazing that footage like that is out there for 28 years and nobody know about it... Makes you wonder....

That was hilarious. Funniest part was when Dave picked up Ed at the end of Cradle.....LOL!
The lip synch was classic. Looked like the drinks were flowing before hand. |

| I don't know how to put it on dvd but i hope someone will.By the way they sould've put all the sequence when Dave is doing split in the air.I would pay a lot to have a pro shot from 1980 and from all the tour with Roth in the 80's :D please God,i won't drink,smoke and swear anymore if you give me a nice CVh proshot.when the dvd would have arrived i would yell:oh f$ck man this is too much give me a beer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D |
