| Any regular users having problems the last day or so? The pages freeze up while loading, and my browser says the site wants to load an Active X control, while my virus detection flags a Trojan virus at the same time? This is happening on both my work and home pc's, so I don't think it's local issue. |

I am having problems with it as well.
From the website:
Hi -
This is the TapeTrader Admin.
Some malicious freak hacked the TapeTrader database to change all of the links on the site.
Your show lists etc. are all OK, but it will take us a little bit to dig ourselves out of the corruption.
Thanks for your patience.

Thanks, I figured somebody had hacked it.
And of course it's been a few months since I grabbed a copy of my list off the site. I need to remember to do that every month, for when the site goes down. |

Yeah all of my stuff is there too....hopefully the lists are OK - that would be a disaster. |

It says all the lists are fine :thumb:
That's why I use Tapetrader as my BACKUP Site. My Freewebs site has my master lists, while Tapetrader only has Judas Priest & Related. :) |

Speaking of trading...WTF happened to Onfire (Jerry)...We had a good little SoCal network going here
and then he just vanished...no posts or responses to email anywhere for more than 6 months now...
Is it just me? Or has something gone awry?!?!? Anybody? |

Michael Peachey states that all our shows, etc are safe...it's just gonna take some time to recover everything...
it hasn't even been a week, yet. |

Yeah, this is a bummer. So much time into it.Since they have taken the forums off Tapetrader it seems like its just surviving and now this.
Hope its worked out soon. |

For those of you who have been on Tapetrader for years, you'll recall the site going down every now and then, but Peachy always gets it back up (so to speak!!). Give him some time, and all will be well. One thing I wish the site would do is allow me to export my entire list, including the show comments and setlists.....I've spent countless hours adding notes to my list.
And finally, when they are back online, be sure to check out the donation page....it's a great site, and it's free, but someone has to pay the hosting bills.
(for the record, I am in no way associated with the site, other than being a thankful user!!!) |

They were supposed to do that after the last time the site went down, because it was down for months, but apparently it was never done. |

It seems i can retrieve my list but i cannot retrieve yours... Kyle, Cam, Mike... everybody.
This site was a lifeline as far as my list was concerned. It looks as though it's time to start all over again! It's gone f'r shit!!! |
