|
|
I have a few DVD discs I got from a trader a while ago. They are not too heavily traded because the quality isn't the best.
Just the other day I noticed this though-
I got the discs out to copy them, on my other computer (Vista) (which has 2 DVD drives).
The discs duplicated fine in Nero, and said there were no errors. I took the exact same source discs toady, and put them in the DVD drive on this Computer (XP). When I explored the DVD disc in Windows explorer, And tried to copy the VIDEO_TS folder to a place on my hard drive. It started copying the VOB Files fine, and halfway through 1_1 the time remaining kept going up! Every few seconds it would go up, and eventually it was at 223 minutes remaining, I gave up then.
Any Suggestions on what the problem is, or how to fix it?
Thanks |

| Extracting the contents of a disc via a duplicator application is different from copying the files from the VIDEO_TS folder via Windows (sometimes). If you try it again with what you were using (nero?), they should read fine (again). |
