| Gotta love how theses idiots mix the 2 era's. For a dvd from the 07 Worcester show they use the ring logo for the disc picture. I noticed NYCBC does this too. Fuckers. |

| With all the torrent sites it's so easy just to get all this and turn around and sell copies to people who have no clue that you can get these for free.. It's sad! |

Artwork is definately from here. Used my Anaheim art but that doesn't really bother me. Really should put a watermark on the covers though but i want you guys to have it with no watermark.

I think if your into band and like them enough at this stage in the game to buy bootlegs,it's 2008 but are not aware of torrents and don't trade or know you can use the computer to get bootlegs for free it's your fault.
I have not bought bootlegs in years I remember the early 90s when it was over 20 dollars for a crappy bootleg vhs or way more for a cd.For all the money I spent on them back in the day,I have got so many for free from trading and torrents that I don't feel so bad about it anymore.
I'm curious how much these guys still make.It's not like back in the day when this stuff was all over ebay and torrents were not readily available. |

JESUS CHRIST! Almost every show I did artwork for is on his website, as well...
As Mike puts it...I really don't mind, but at least use my disc art too...LOL.
All kidding aside, I thought that the 'selling thing' was pretty much extinct...
I know NYC bitch Committee is still doing their thing...but apparently there are others...WTF :sus: |

They also Trade their videos, for other videos from the same tour. (Van Halen 07 DVD for Van Halen 07 DVD) |

This seller is a member here and probably a member at JTT and all the other torrent sites.. It's just hard to find out who this person is... If I do find out who he/she is they will be banned here.

Try doing watermarking like I did and this way sellers won't like this HUGE watermark across the artwork and send the artwork to members you trust without the watermarking. I know it sucks but this will discourage sellers using your artwork with DVD sold.
I remember seeing one of my artwork with the wathermark across the entire artwork still being sold on Ebay with the DVD.. Sellers don't have any shame!

My guess is they belong to every torrent site/ trade site and get their dvd's from there. |

If you trade with nybc, you have to except the fact that what you trade... they will sell, simple as that. So what your effectively doing is supplying stock for them to profit! Granted some people will not buy a show because of the cost, but you should think of what your trading with and the origins of the show... if it's say a Radikal prod (who does his stuff for the free trade community) then your giving it to someone to sell!!! I suppose the only sure fire way of trading with a seller is to trade something you have totally originated yourself.
I actually think that nybc don't get their stuff from downloads etc like most (nearly all) sellers do, I reckon due to the fact that they film so many shows themselves, people are throwing stuff at them to get what they film in exchange.
Personally I've never had an issue with nybc, but would always buy rather than trade, just seems the safest way to protect the free traders hard work. I see nybc's name pop up a lot here, but without them there would be a lot of shows missing from our collections, so although I'm against selling and sellers, I do have to give props to what they do with their OWN shows.
Btw asdfanofpriest, this is not aimed at you mate, it's just a general observation about trade/sell. :thumb: |
