Hey guys,

I'm getting more involved in creating artwork for the DVDs. How do you prefer the artwork for a 2-disc set? 1 cover for a 2-DVD case, or 2 covers for 2 separate cases? And what about a 3-DVD show? Any input is appreciated!

I personally prefer 1 cover for a dual dvd case. Your artwork has been awesome by the way.

One case is good for me. For double DVD i get a case that holds 2 discs and for a 3 banger show i slip one disc in a paper envelope and drop it in with the other two. Ya and your artwork kick ass by the way!!!!!!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Hey guys,

Thank you very much for the kind words... I'll do one cover per show and if anyone needs it done differently, just let me know.

I just placed 2-disc versions of my covers in the artwork section as well if anyone needs them!

They do make triple and quad dvd cases and you can get them cheap (in quantity) on ebay :thumb:

The norm having looked at the art section seems to be 1 cover per show. I've not seen 3 disc cases as I only use the paper sleeves, but as Mike says, popping the 3 in a case does the trick.

I haven't had a wander round the art section for sometime, but I noticed there's quite a few disc labels... is this a popular thing that people use? I've always thought that applying sticky labels can effect the playability of the disc? especially if they're slightly off centre?

Keep up the excellent artwork guys, it all adds to the strength of the site.

1 cover for me. I usually print the discs so the disc label is good to obtain. Al likes them that way :D Fantastic artwork everyone and thank you :thumb:

I like to use Slim cases for single-disc shows, and regular 2-disc cases for 2 disc shows. Haven't come across many 3-disc shows, but would probably do the 3rd disc in a sleeve inside the case thing. I also have some quad-cases for when I have a 4 or 5 disc set.

On the tradional artwork isn't the spine to "fat" to fit and be viewable on a slimline case?

Yes, but most are easily "shrunk" via photoshop.
