I wish there was a universal date code for the Day/Month/Year listings. Here in Quebec and Europe we use the Day/Month/Year, and the U.S uses Month/Day/Year.All this leads to confusion and errors. Are others also experiencing the same problems?

I found it to be a bit of a hassle, too.
I like the way it looks in this order Year/Month/Day this way a list becomes in chronological order, the list is legible and I can see what's what. I used this order to tag audio files played on Winamp.

I think it was Dirq who said it best (and I'm paraphrasing) Bands shouldn't perform on the first 12 days of any month.

If everyone used letters instead of numbers for months that would answer many questions

01-03-80 ... could be January 3rd or March 1st

... BUT ...

01-MAR-80 or MAR-01-80 can only be March 1st.

Typically I use DAY-MONTH-YEAR and use letters for month ... 01-MAR-1980.

That's just me.
