The following is the old list of bad traders from a previous version of the VH Trade site. The page no longer exists; however, I dug it up on my PC, and by request I will reprint it here. I have no idea if any of these traders are still out there...
--------------------------------------
A list of known bad traders
Alphabetized by last name - Updated 7/24/00
--------------------------------------

Name: Louis T. Carreiro
Known E-mail: PVWolfie@aol.com
City: Beavercreek
State: OH
Zip/Postal Code: 45432
Testimonial: Traded VH concert from '91 for VH in the Studio (1984) in February '99. Never got item. Contacted him several times. He always tells me he will send it out. Almost a year now and I have gotten the item.
Sent by: James Munjone
Date posted: 12/09/99
--------------------------------------

Name: Antonio Cheng
Known E-mail: n/a
City: Miami
State: FL
Zip/Postal Code: 33166-6559
Testimonial: I sent Antonio a CD-R copy of the two-cd set "Wolfgang Attack" in exchange for "77+ Live" and "5150 Leftovers." This was on 26 April 1999. He got my end within a week, I'm still waiting for his. Lame excuse followed lame excuse, and then he stopped replying at all. Don't trade with this guy.
Sent by: Craig Allen
Date posted: 2/06/00
--------------------------------------

Name: Tony Giann
Known E-mail: highbidder99@aol.com
City: Flushing
State: NY
Zip/Postal Code: 11385
Testimonial: We had arranged a 2 show for 2 show video trade, and he insisted on shipping priority. I shipped my shows the very next morning. That was over 5 weeks ago, and I have received nothing from him but excuses. He has since blocked my email address so I can not contact him.
Sent by: Mike Pietersen
Date posted: 12/09/99
--------------------------------------

Name: Chucky Kirkendal, Jr.
Known E-mail: chk8635@cub.uca.edu
City: Conway
State: Arkansas
Zip/Postal Code: 72035
Testimonial: Sent 2 blanks on 10/21/99 for 1 show. No e-mails, after many, many emails by myself. Don't be ripped off by this jerk! Follow thru with the trade, it's no rocket science here! Don't waste my time, effort, and most imporant blanks!
Sent by: Mike Kirka
Date posted: 12/09/99
--------------------------------------

Name: Jason Lentz
Known E-mail: satch@monsterous.com
City: Henderson
State: Nevada
Zip/Postal Code: 89014
Testimonial: Date of Trade June 2, 2000 Sent 8 blank CDRs and VH "Light up the Sky" cdr for the VH "Looney Tunes" 4 cd set. I sent several e-mails with NO response. May you rot in hell.
Sent by: Joe St.Laurent
Date posted: 7/24/00
--------------------------------------

Name: Richard Morava
Known E-mail: newsphoto@juno.com
City: Don't remember
State: Florida
Zip/Postal Code: forgot
Testimonial: Basically, we had agreed that I'd send the guy two blank tapes and on one of them, he'd record me golden west ballroom and send it back to me; he'd then get to keep the other tape. Well, I never got what I was supposed to get in return and its been a lot longer than two months so I feel that I was screwed on the trade. I dont remember too much about the guy. I think that the e-mail address above is the correct one; I dont know of any others. I dont remember the guy's zip code or city, but I do know that his name is Richard Morava and he resides somewhere in Florida. So I would highly reccommend that you guys avoid this guy and do not trade with him.
Sent by: Removed by request
Date posted: 12/14/99
--------------------------------------

Name: Rakesh Nirmal
Known E-mail: rcn@excite.com, rcn@beers.com, rakeshnirmal@excite.com
Address 1:
City: Toronto
Province: Ontario
Zip/Postal Code: M6S 2T6
Address 2:
City: Mississauga (Toronto metro area)
Province: Ontario
Zip/Postal Code: L5E 1L8
Testimonial 1: Sent four videos in exchange for three CD-Rs. All communication ceased once he received my portioin of the trade.
Sent by: Eric Fossum
Date posted: 12/14/99
Testimonial 2: I made a 4 CD-R trade with him in July 99. I sent my side out to him within a week. After recieving nothing from him for about 1 month I started e-mailing him without reply. After many many emails I recieved 2 replies about 2 days apart. The first stated he recieved my cd's and mine were sent out. The second reply said he was having trouble with his cd burner and would send them out when he got it fixed and he would send an extra disc for my troubles. I never got anything and he totally quit replying to e-mails. I posted him as a bad trader and a good person, who was also ripped off by this guy, gave me his phone number. I called Mr. Nirmal and he said he didn't recall making a trade with me, but he would make good on his side of it if I would send him e-mails proving we actually had a trade. Luckily I saved the e-mails and I sent them to him, and still nothing. He recently contacted a friend of mine for a trade, and low and behold the items I sent him were on his list. This guy is still trying to rip people off. I know of at least 4 people he has done this to, please don't trade with this #@*$! or you will be sorry!
Sent by: Jason Danford
Date posted: 12/09/99
--------------------------------------

Name: Ian Price
Known E-mail: vhking5150@aol.com
City: Port Jefferson
State: NY
Zip/Postal Code: 45432
Testimonial: I sent him a CD-R of a DLR concert then he responds that he didn't realize we were trading CD-R's. I told him if there was a problem to let me know and we could work something out. Well, needless to say this guy still hasn't came through with anything.
Sent by: Jim Pal
Date posted: 4/10/00
--------------------------------------

Name: Joe Sage
Known E-mail: music97@pacbell.net, muzic97@hotmail.com, muzic97a@hotmail.com, music97@postoffice.pacbell.net
City: Oceanside
State: CA
Zip/Postal Code: 92054
Testimonial 1: He has the name "JAWS" in his sig file. He accepted my tapes that I sent immediately, and after a few e-mails made up of lame excuses, he stopped replying to my messages.
Sent by: Ryan Hargraves
Date posted: 12/09/99
Testimonial 2: I sent him a copy of my live in Toronto '98 video for a copy of Van Halen rarities 1978-1995 with interview videos and rare live stuff. I sent him a Sammy Hagar in St. Louis video in a trade for the Sammy in Oakland, Ca. "Marching To Mars" tour video, and it never materialized. I've e-mailed him repeatedly and first I got excuses, and now I get nothing. No responses, nada. HE IS A CONFIRMED THIEF!
Sent by: AARON HANEY
Date posted: 3/23/00
Testimonial 5: I actually got a trade out of him! but he screwed me on another trade! many excuses about his wife and this and that. HE SUCKS! CON ARTIST! FULLY SPREAD THE WORD!
Sent by: Paul Fletcher
Date posted: 7/24/00

I don't want to start anything with anyone, so I'm not going to mention names here...
That being said, I do recognize a few names here as being VHML members. They may not members as I type this (it's recently moved to Yahoogroups), but as early as the start of this year they were listers...

I definitely recognize one of these guys from the VH/DLR boards on AOL from about 5-6 years ago. Interesting to see his name pop up again....
