I am trying to patch up a trade with this guy at the moment. I sent him in the vicinity of 12 DVD's, and then he started telling me he had trouble with his burner. Eventually ( like, a month later ), he finally sent me some DVD's. If I have more than one show on one DVD, that still counts as 1 item in my book, and I only do that if I have 2 items that together are under an hour. That way, everything is recorded at the highest possible quality. This guy fit 3 items per DVD, cutting the discs he sent me to 1/3 of what I sent him. Then he recorded with a brightness setting so high that a lot of the time the screen is pure white. That's on the couple of discs he sent me that actually work, the rest are coasters. I'll post an update if he fixes all of this, but right now I am not hopeful and I'd advise anyone not to trade with him.

I always trade on number of discs, rather than number of items on discs. I think you will find most people work on that basis. When I was a video trader I did the same with tapes too.

I would send all the discs back to him if they are unviewable!

Sorry to hear about your bad experience mate!
Chris.

I agree, I go disc to disc. I don't have a DVD burner, but if I were to trade DVD's I'd especially invoke this policy in that case because DVD's are so damn expensive.
