First off, my apologies to Scott for bringing this up, since he banned wGyR yesterday, but I feel all of us need to be made aware of this person's reputation.
Apparently, anything and everything that was said about him prior to his being banned is true, regardless of the comments he made trying to make himself appear honest. I did a Google search last night, and someone here also PM'd me with the same info I found, and I had to stop on page 37. Take a look:

Yes, in excess of 30+ pages worth of negative comments and proof this Eddie LaPrade/wGyR guy is in fact nothing more than a professional rip-ff artist.

| Agreed. He seems to show up in bitch/whinefests all over the net, and I've never heard a good word said about him except from himself. |

| Oh, my ... I put my own name in the google search and found a TON of stuff that has NOTHING to do with me. WOW. I'm not saying Eddie Laprade isn't scum because he probably is and I don't plan on trading with him BUT you've got to try putting in your own name and see what comes up ! |

| I wish I would have known he was around these parts a long time ago. Close to 3 years ago he was pulling the same garbage on the Black Crowes boards. One trader had threatened to show up on his door step and beat the discs out of him. Another trader that ownes rental properties had turned in his name and address to a database that landlords use to look up bad renters and to see if they owe on judgments. Apparently this can go against your credit report. I don't agree with messing around with someone's credit rating but you would think the guy would have gotten a clue after that. What a jack arse! |

Well Frank I have known and dealt with him for many years and yes all those things in that Goggle search are about him.He really is a split personality and does have some issues when it comes to dealing with people. |
