| I'm basically moving my thread from VHstrungout to here. Thanks Scott!
About a few months ago I arranged atrade with Danvh <www.vhvault.com/danvh> from vhvault.com. I traded him a Led Zepplin boot (1 CD), and two DLR Boots ( 3 CDs ) for a total of 4 CDs.
He was supposed to send me the following:
an Aerosmith boot (2 CD)
and Van Halen (live at Pittsburgh, PA on July 24, 1998)
It turned out that the Van Halen boot was actually the Hershey show of July 26, 1998. I asked him ahead of time to double check if the boot was actually the Pittsburgh show and he still said it was so I proceded to trade.
When I recieved the Van Halen boot I discovered it was the Hershey show. Dan offered to send me another show and I requested the DLR boot entitled "40 below". He never came through with this boot and has not answered any of my replies!
It was an honest mistake, he offered to fix his mistake but never came through.
This happened at the beginning of summer and I want to forget about it. I've accomplished several trades since and I'm not going to let one bad trade make things sour for me.
The only thing that burns me is he offered to fix his mistake and then ignored my emails for the next six months.
Again, the initial trade came through as promised but if I sent somebody the wrong show and they respectfully requested I fix my error I would gladly do so. Others have done the same for me.
My final word is I think his trade ethics are unprofessional. |

| Well I finally got my CDR!
I emailed Dan one last time to let him know I was reporting the problem to vhtrading and vhstrungout and he was quick to respond.
He informed me he thought the issue was resolved (which it wasn't) and offered to send me another CDR. |
