I'm against bad traders (and sellers) as much as the next guy, but I think the type of harrassment that Milan gave Dave Rinehart is a bit too much.

I read the thread at the Vault forums (here) where Dave defended himself and I had my doubts on whether or not Dave's claims of harrassment were true. After reading what Milan admitted on his bad trader page, almost half of those claims appear to be true or highly possible.

My advice to Milan would be to just let it go. If he sent you back the tapes, I wouldn't worry about the postage costs. So I would just chalk the loss to "experience", so to speak. Most of us have been burned in trades sometime in the past and know the frustration and anger but sometimes bad trades are inevitable...there's always going to be an asshole or a melonhead out there to fuck things up.

My take on Dave Rinehart (now this is only from what I've read about him in the forums...I don't know him and have never corresponded with him) is that he's an immature, irresponsible kid who can't take the time or consideration to find out how to follow through with a trade successfully or how to deal with problems if and when they occur. His words: "He sent me some video tapes to ripp and when i got them i couldn't ripp them so i didn't tell him because i was to scared what he was going to think.So i leave for a while" What kind of excuse is that? :roll:

I think Rinehart should not be a part of the VH trading circles, at least not until he grows up and shows some responsibility. This includes the Vault FTP (just my humble opinion; Steve's doing a top-notch job with it and of course it's up to him if he wants to give access to Rinehart).

I've never heard a bad thing about Milan but again he needs to lighten up about this matter. I don't think Dave was actually trying to rip anybody off, I just think he's a dumb kid who didn't know what the hell he was getting into. Trading is a very serious (but fun) hobby for us and guys like Rinehart should learn not to play games with us.

I'm closing this thread. I've given my personal opinions but I'm not going to play mediator.
