| It says you need a complete url, but when I do this, I get a box with an "x" in the middle. This happens on other sites also. Any suggestions? |

Is the picture you want to post on a website? Any pictures from your computer's hard drive cannot be read. Make sure it's uploaded to a web server.
Also, check to see if the URL of the image is working correctly in your browser first; just paste it into the address bar on top. If you can see it fine, then it can be seen in a message board post. Click the "Image" button under the "Instant UBB Code" when you post, paste in the correct URL in the prompt box, and it should show up fine (you can test it with the "Preview Post" button first).

Thanks, I'll give it a try. If the image is too large, could that be a problem? Also, sometimes it shows up, and sometimes it's just the boxed "x".

| Also, and Scott may have to correct me on this one, some web sites won't allow you to post pics on another site from their site. I've seen that happen a few times. |

I know I always have trouble with posting pics on the VHVault Forums. Strange, since it's the same board software, so it might be their host they're using that's causing the problems. |
