| I am with you on this. Just emailed Scott on it to see what happened. I am also only seeing a couple of threads in each forum. Was working a trade for some video and I don't remember who it was with. |

| I'm well aware of the problem, and I apologize for it, folks. I've found the "missing" Private Messages, but the files are ALL over the place within the original back up...it would take me hours to isolate each file, upload them, and then rebuild them to make sure they work. :( I may just wipe out everything that's been created new since then and do a cold, complete reload from the backup files. Until then it would be a good idea if everyone would copy important details out of PM's, such as mailing addresses and details of trades, to a text editor program. I'll try to let everyone know later tonight what I will do. |

In case the message didn't get to some people, here's the e-mail I sent to all forums members a little over an hour ago:
Everyone,
Due to the recent server change and incomplete restoration of the original backup files, dozens of Private Messages (found in your forums profiles) have apparently been lost. What I plan to do is to restore the "missing" PMs in two days. What I ask of any of you who have used the PM system on this board is to copy any important messages you have recently (as in the past 4 days) sent and/or received, and save them in a separate text file. After I restore the older PMs in about 48 hours, any newer PMs will be lost, so again you need to copy any and all important PMs for safe keeping. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Thanks for your understanding. |

| Bad news, everyone. :( :( The "good" news is, that all of the PMs created since the server move last weekend have been safely restored. |
