I'm happy to give you version 4.5 of the VH Trade Site! There are changes aplently both medium and small in this update, and probably the biggest thing is that the site has moved to virtually all PHP. If you're not a web developer that probably doesn't mean much to you, but it does allow easier editing of dynamic and repeated web page elements, not to mention the pages should load just a schmidge faster than before. If you've got certain pages bookmarked in your favorites, please update them to the new URLs (although I'll put up page redirects soon and keep them up for a while).

The Audio and Video boots pages are now in a database and are searchable and sortable! I will soon do the same for vinyl and other boots, and sometime in the future add more data for each show including links to vhboots.com.

Other minor changes:

The header has changed, allowing search fields for both the site and the forums to be at the very top right (where I originally wanted them located). This frees up the right sidebar up a bit.

I have created a Site History for VHTrade.com/VHTrading.com. Whether or not you've been a regular site visitor all these years, you can see all the goofy (or strangely cool, if you look at things with a skewed view :D Thanks!

Hey Scott just wanted to say thanks a million for such a great site. I can honestly say that this site is the best place to meet traders on the internet. Not only Van Halen traders but all bands in general. Everyone is friendly and only happy to help with questions or searches. My video/dvd collection has improved so much over the last 18 months or so all because of great traders I have met on this site.

Thank you so much for your hard work. I know I am not alone when I say we appreciate it.

Its kind of weird to have a good Van Halen site with none of the red/white/black stripes and no major Dave/Sammy bias. And as far as the actual forums go, other forums seem to have rampant Dave/Sammy bashing, or just odd "VH Rocks!" or "VH Sucks!" postings.

I have to give Scott thumbs up for making a functionally easy site to use and enjoy and give another thumbs up to all the users for making it an enjoyable place, because one without the other would do no good!

I haven't been involved in a trade for quite a few months now (just can't get the time now) but I love to hang around the site just to get some honest non-bias VH talk. Can't do that anywhere else. Thanks for the site.
