I'm wanting to expand the VH Trade site and have about a dozen-plus things in mind to add to it to make it more "featured-packed". But since I have limited time to spend on the site, I've cut the idea list in half and selected what I thought were the most useful ones. This is where you guys come in. I need you to vote on what you think would be the coolest, most killer ideas that you would like to see on the site.
Please select (up to) three features to the VH Trade site that you would most like to see added. The ones that get the most votes will be put first on my priority list.
You are, of course welcome to reply to this thread and add any suggestions not listed among the choices. Please don't be shy, and no idea is too dumb to mention. Okay, most ideas aren't too dumb. ;) Thanks! |

An update on the Video Boots section of this site would be great Scott :thumb: There are several missing boots such as the new Vegas 84 and the Rock im Park Nuremburg 98 pro shot for instance. It would be nice to have solo listings for DLR and Sammy too.
Thanks for all your fantatic work in keeping our community alive mate!
Chris. |

"Detailed notes and set lists on shows now listed on vhboots.com "
Did you mean "NOT listed" instead of "NOW listed?"
This would be a great feature.

BOTH, it would be nice to have a detailed site with all the dates, setlists and if possible reviews, for all eras, all tours, all encompassing. |

| I was about to email you or post about one you have listed. I think having a forum or section with reviews for the upcoming tour would be great, I thought about it the other day. I'm sure vhforums will do it, but it would be awesome for the users here to have something to post reviews on. :thumb: |

The 3 Most popular are the file sharing server, the trade list stuff, then the howto stuff. Honestly, we need a direct connect hub or something where we can all share all the shows. This will eliminate the crappy versions out there.
The advanced trade list stuff is good for those who don't know how, but the technical articles I'm unsure of. Technology can potentially change so fast, those questions might just be better left to the boards. Or does it really seem like we get a LOT of redundant questions?
Just my 2 cents... |

| A complete and acurate tour history of dates, with links to the set lists, known audio and video bootlegs right off the same list. With the ability to submit new info from the members. Any changes could be approved or corrected by admins. |

I like the "how-to" tech articles and reviews idea. I would take it one step further and say make a page or section that would "grab" all the latest reviews and tech articles from other websites, so they would be accessible in one place. By this I mean just grab links -- you click on it and it would take you to the other website, so it's not like you were stealing others sites' content. Can this be done?
For the concert reviews, couldn't you just add another forum? And add another gallery in the artwork section? |

Just my 2 cents... Good point, and I think my "mine tne internet" idea would be a good solution for this. :D |

I've considered giving regular forum members the ability to update the audio & video lists, but I've held off because of the chance that erroneous could be added or that multiple entries could be deleted if it fell into the "wrong" hands (the current interface allows deletion of shows, but of course, I could take this out). But the completion of the lists is taking forever, so I just may grant access to certain board members (say, ones who've made over 100 posts or something like that).

That's a pretty decent idea. Although, there probably are a few who don't post very often that could have valuable input but it shouldn't be hard for them to get the information to the right individuals or perhaps you have the ability to make acceptions. |

Scott, what I'd like to see added to the website is an add-on to the Today's Active Topics. I'd like to be able to see the last 2 days topics and three days etc.... Just my 2 cents. Thanks Later Alan

www.vhtrading.com/aschiftner I like Alan's idea as well. Maybe having the choice of seeing the last 10, 20, 30, 40 posts. As an option.
or
The last 20 posted within a given Topic Forum. So if someone wants to read posts on just DVD they can, Just Audio, Just Artwork. and so on. |
