For those of you interested in this show, here is some info I rec'd. There is a tree starting.

Hello All,

This is the announcement for the "Sundown in San Diego" CD-R
tree. The tree will close on February 15, 2002.

Ron H. has the source discs for these two shows and has graciously agreed to
seed the
branches. Artwork, setlists, comments, etc are available at
http://www.vhboots.com/sundownsandiego.html

This show was sourced from the master tapes, and was released as a 4 disc
"box set" covering the 5/20 and 5/21/84 shows in San Diego.
-----------------------------------------

BRANCHES: To be a branch, you MUST be able to burn DAO. In other words,
you must be able to produce a disc without two-second gaps. If you have any
doubts about your ability to produce perfect digital copies of these discs
please sign up as a leaf rather than a branch. In addition, as a branch you
should be prepared to burn approximately five copies of this show for leaves.

To sign up to be a branch send an email to "grenoff1@aol.com" in the
following manner:

In the SUBJECT line, type "Sundown Branch."

In the BODY of the message please include your real name, geographic
location, and the maximum number of leaves you would be willing to burn discs
for (the minimum, unless response to the tree is light, will be five).
-----------------------------------------------------------

LEAVES: If you have nothing to trade, do not have digital capability, or
are too busy to burn multiple discs, you should sign up to be a leaf. Leaves
can get copies of the disc from their branch in one of two ways: (1) by
trading; or (2) by sending blanks & postage. I will leave the blanks &
postage arrangements up to branches and leaves to work out.

To sign up to be a leaf send an email to "grenoff1@aol.com" in the
following manner:

In the SUBJECT line, type "Sundown Leaf."

In the BODY of the message please include your real name and geographic
location.
------------------------------------------

Once I receive your email, I will reply with a brief "OK" or "Thanks" to let
you know I got your email and that you are signed up.

After the tree is closed, I will post the structure of the tree. The
structure will contain everyone's names and email addresses. Soon afterward,
the leaves should make email contact with their branches and the branches
should make contact with Ron (ron@vhboots.com).

Quick and regular COMMUNICATION here is key;
please don't wait until a week after the structure is up to make contact.

Thanks,

Greg

Probably a stupid question but where do people get the original discs?
