I'm looking for the recent show on 6/28/04. Anyone know where I can get this show?
Please email me at jgoodrich@valspar.com
I'd really appreciate it. I may have something I could trade in exchange. |

Do you have access that you can use Bit Torrent? It's on Sharing The Groove.

I'm not sure what that is but I'm sure I can get access if you can direct me to the right place.
I appreciate your help. |

Feel free to pm me if you need help getting started. You'll need a broadband connection, otherwise it will take you forever and a day to grab it.

| It could take you forever and a day to grab it even if you have broadband ... I have been on STG trying to grab that show for over a week now (at least I think it has been over a week) and it is still downloading. I know I use to have issues with closed ports but I opened them all up and a Blues Traveler show from etree's BT came across like anything ... 100kb plus almost the entire time ... got the show in no time but for some reason this show is creeping along soooo slowly. I look a look at the tracker too and it looks like there are a number of seeds and not that many peers so I'm not sure why it would be so slow. |

Frank, it shouldn't take you that long, especially for an audio show. I think I got mine in only a few hours. Did you try capping your upload speed? I usually cap mine at around 8-10/kb a second and that usually helps.

Dang I never thought of that ... to be honest I was downloading about four shows at once, the Blues Traveler was max-ing out about 100-120kb, another show was in the 30-40kb range, one was complete and was just uploading and the last was the Van Halen 6/28/04, maybe it was a combination of factors.
EDIT: I also noticed that I must have lost my connection a couple of times as my IP changed two or three times over the course of the week. |
