To save time, I've copied most of what I wrote for the last big tree. Here's the basics: I've broken it down into main branches (1st Branches), sub-branches (2nd branches), and leaves. This is to prevent certain people from having to burn 20 copies.

We have a LOT of newbies here, so I'll give a brief explanation of how this works: Hain23x will supply the "seed" to the 1st Branches. Each 1st Branch works out a deal with the three 2nd Branches underneath them. And the 2nd Branches trade with the 2 or 3 leaves underneath them.

What everyone needs to do now is immediately contact your leaves if you're a branch, and vice versa. It is up to the each branch and each of his individual leaves to figure what kind of deal you would like to make. You can do 1:1 trades (and show each other your trade lists); you can do 2:1 with blanks (since this is a 2 CD-R set, it would be 4:2 technically ;) ); you could even do 1:1 B&P's. The details are up to you and it is each branch's responsibility to make sure everything is set up.

Need to find out the contact information for the people you're trading with? Look them up on the Memberlist. If you yourself have not supplied an e-mail in your profile, please contact your branch and give them the proper contact info.

If you're a leaf, give the branches some time to receive their discs first. Once your branch is in possession of the discs and can start copying them, you can mail your trades then.

Here's a few rules:

Burn your discs at DAO (Disk-At-Once), NO EXCEPTIONS. It's common sense, and no one likes to listen to something with huge gaps in between each song.
Burn at a slow speed and LISTEN to the discs before you send them to ensure there are no flaws in the recording.
Everyone should keep in contact with your trade partner(s) at all times and let 'em know what's going on. Check your e-mail daily and and don't forget to look for any PM's in your forums profile.
Try to work out any problems amongst yourselves first. If for some reason something cannot be resolved in this manner, THEN post any problems on this board.

If I accidentally left anyone off, or set you up as a branch and you wanted to be a leaf (or vice versa), let me know A.S.A.P. and I can make the proper additions/corrections.
If you have any further questions, refer to the tree explanation page ( http://www.vhtrading.com/tapetrees.html ), or reply to this post.

Actually Hain mentioned 4 discs on this page. Sorry I didn't notice earlier:

Hain, is the Howard Stern interview from the radio or webcast (compressed or non compressed)?

Two quick questions guys.

1 What does 1:1 B&P mean?

2 Am I screwed here because I am a 2nd branch but have nothing to trade that everyone here doesnt already have (Eyes of the Night & Covers Band from Passadena). I just wanted to get a copy of this show and help out the cause with my burner. I didnt want to be a newbie prick and just be a leaf.

I've heard when burning above 8x you are subject to errors. Anybody else have any feedback on this?
