I got this from my west coast source, who taped it. He says I'm the only person he's traded with. I don't believe there's another version in circulation.
He only got Sammy's set on tape. 2 CDs. |

The source minidiscs sound GREAT, the taper was very close and there's not too much crowd. When I first transfered it to CD, I noticed some hiss noise building up, so I tweaked the EQ to roll off the high end and bring up some high mids and some "presence." I think it sounds good now. I'm not a big boot collector, so I can't really give you a reference.... B+ or A- maybe? I'd be happy to post an MP3 or two if someone wants to lend me the web space. It's definitely less muddy than the Chicago show.
BTW, remember, this is just Sammy's set you're trading for. Just wanted to reiterate. :) |
