Hi there,
I deperately need someone to take over my High Main leaves. Long story short...a drunken ass rammed my house nailing all of my computer gear. The disks I received have not been found yet. The house is uninhabitable, and we are making the determination tomorrow on whether or not the house needs to be torn down. I am not kidding...the impact was that bad.
Good news is...I was in the room at the time and with all the stuff flying around I only got hit with one little piece of plaster. The air conditioner in the window was making a bee line for me and was yanked back by the cord. Basically, my cats and I survived an impact that destroyed my house without a scratch. It seems silly to say I feel lucky, but I truly do.
I think I will have a bunch of free time in a few weeks in my temp housing and I will resume trading then.

Shit what a horrible experience to go thru! Have a big e-hug from me.
Bummer that he got away with your PC, but the main thing is that you are OK. Hope you manage to get your life back to some kind of order soon.

Andrea, I already sent you my end of the trade. Go ahead and keep the U2 cd set. Sounds like you have other issues to deal with. GLAD to hear you are ok. Best of luck in your decision making process.

What can I say that everyone else hasn't already. After something like that . . . wow . . . take your time, don't feel like you got to hurry, we'll all be here when you come back. I, too, am glad it wasn't more serious and you didn't get hurt, especially by that flying air conditioner, that could have really hurt !
It is very cool to see so many stepping up to take care of your trades, macdon22shipp, way to go I'm very impressed.

Thanks for all the wishes guys. This isn't the first time you have stepped up to the plate when I have had a problem. It's one of the things that makes this community a great one.
Update on the house...I am still taking inventory on everything. No idea what is lost, although most contents appear to be ok. All my CDs are covered in plaster though and most have scratches. It will take a lot of time to go thru all this.
And I found out today that they will be demolishing the entire house. I still can't believe it. Amazing what a few seconds of someone else's stupidity can cost you...

This is none of my business...
But please tell me the drunk had insurance and that it's paying for everything.
Too often people like this don't have insurance, so on top of everything else, you end up with this headache also.
