| Just wondering what kind of POP-UP stoppers you guys use? The one i currently have seems to be out of date and is stopping nothing.PLS help!!! They are driving me insane!!!! :furious: :furious: Hope i posted this in the right spot.Thanks |

| I use Analog X POW! which is pretty good but you have to actually manually tell it exactly which pop-ups to delete. For example, when you get a pop-up, you load POW! and there is a list of all the current open windows. You then click the name of the pop-up you want it to keep from coming up and it will protect you from it. I have kept adding names of pop-ups to the list so now I am all protected until I come across a new one. |

I use both AdShield and Free Surfer MK II. I never get pop-ups anymore, but if I want something to pop up (and sometimes you do), I just hold CTRL when I click and it will.
You can also add sites to it's list of allowed sites if you want (like this one when you want to preview your post). Also, if a (flash, etc..) ad happens to show up on a page, you can just right click on it and disable it never to see it again.
I just wish they could come up with something like that for phones and noisey neighbor kids. :p |
