It was a great FUCKIN SHOW!
Dave sounds 100% better that he did on the Sam/ DAVE Tour.
The VH Bros. need to get off their asses and get the Reunion we've all been waiting for on the road!
Brian,James,Toshi & Ray sounded awesome!
They are a very tight band.
These guys fuckin' rocked!
Being as close as I was on the floor I was hoping to get a pick or a drumstick but Ray didn't throw any out and Brian threw a few picks but they got snagged by some taller dudes in front of me.
Dave was just great!
Incredibly Great!
I've seen Dave w/ VH four times back in the day and this was the closes I've ever seen him,I was about 6 rows back on the floor crowd,and his age is showing but I was really suprised how great he sounded vocally.
I have a few bootlegs from some of the early shows on the tour last year and you could hear some of the problems he was having but none of them showed up last night.
All I kept thinking thru out the show was "DLR/VH Reunion
2004!"
1996 DLR might not have been ready for the gig but 2004 Diamond Dave IS!
My only disapointment(but not a major one) was when Dave put on the acoustic guitar for ICE CREAM MAN and he tease all us VH die hards with little bit of COULD THESE BE MAGIC?,I would have loved to have heard the whole song.
I almost missed this show but damn am I glad now that I didn't.
