What would the tracklisting for this look like? Lets see...
maybe..
You Really Got Me
Jamies Cryin'
Ice Cream Man
Beautiful Girls
Everybody Wants Some!!
Drop Dead Legs
Hot For Teacher
Best Of Both Worlds
Love Walks In
Cabo Wabo
Finish What Ya Started
Runaround
Top Of The World
Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do)
Amsterdam
Not Enough
Without You (possible)
+3 new tracks w/ Sammy... would equal around 20. Do you think "Somebody Get Me A Doctor" or "Mean Street" could make it.... eh prolly not. Those are just personal faves of mine. I don't understand why they just didnt originally release this as a 2CD set. :sus:

i think that the good thing about a best of 2, won't be the already know tracks, but the 2 or 3 new that will be added.
there's no doubt that the new material will be strong and at the same time awesome, with unbelieveble riffs...
no way to play them fast as eddie!
:) lets keep on waiting ! |

| I don't think they should put covers on a Best Of Disc... at least I hope they don't. |

| When Best Of Volume One came out I seem to recall someone asking Eddie why the "Volume One" and the reply was that there was talk of a "Volume Two" to include studio outtakes. Seems kindda far fetched for me and that was a while ago, things change. But it would be cool to hear some outtakes or different mixes on existing songs. The thing for me with the original Best Of . . . the Volume One . . . was that I have all their albums, the only thing that interested me was the new tracks. |

There won't be "You Really Got Me", "Ice Cream Man" or any other covers on bov2.
Ed isn't about the covers. I'll buy it for the 2 new songs, but really I will be waiting for the next full length release. Hopefully, they will pick up where they left off, with songs like "Humans Being". But they better get their asses in shape before they go out on the road.(hint hint Sam, put down the fucking tequila, or you won't fit on the bus:)~ |

| I'll get it for the new stuff. Best of's never really turn my crank. VH has too many great tunes to get all the good ones on 1 or even 2 cds.Hopefully if and when they get on the road they swing by Winnipeg. :thumb: |

*patiently awaits announcement* That's a decent list, but I don't think "HFT" will be included since technically it was already included on "BOV1", even though it was available only as an import. They may look at that and say, "If they want it bad enough, they'll buy the import."
I think they'll allow "YRGM" to be added, since, even though it's legally a Kinks song, it's become a Van Halen song. I don't think anything from "Diver Down" will be added since Ed has repeatedly stated his disdain for that album.
And, since Japan includes bonus tracks, I'd like to see "Dirty Water Dog" included as the bonus track for the Japan version since that was released in Japan as a single. It'd be pretty uncool to release a bevy of Hagar and Roth tunes on a CD, including any new material with Hagar, and only include 1 Cherone tune. |
