Greetings everyone. Below you will find the tree structure for the "Floor'em at the Forum" 2 DVD set that The_Digital_Dan seeded to us. Thanks again Dan for a great set!
I have left DVD +/- details in the list as well as any other comments from the branches and leaves where appropriate. Please try to respect the wishes of others for media type.
Once again, just in case, here is the tree signup thread and the DVD deatils page.
Keep in mind that it takes significantly longer to copy DVDs than CDs, so please be patient with the branches.
I will follow this message with one containing the International and Canadian branches and leaves and then 5 more containing the USA branches and leaves. (I had no idea this one was going to be this large!)
If there are any questions, ask away. I will contact the 1st level branches for address information shortly. I have most of the sets copied and ready to go (5 out of 7). Thanks again!

| I'm glad to see this is working so well so far. Hopefully we can use this again for the future projects so that I can clean out my closet, provided no one gets tired of them. This is the first time I've seen a tree used for a dvd release, normaly the Rush folk use weeds or vines. |

There are definitely benefits going either route. The Weed/Vine approach is nice because it requires less work. Send it out to one or two, they send it out to one or two, they send it out to one or two and the show spreads with little planning or work. A Tree seems to hit more people initially and guarantees a lot of people will be getting the recording but the Tree requires a lot more planning and work.
Of course, DDan, you've been around long enough to know the benefits of each, and the drawbacks, however, for you Van Halen people who may not be as familiar ... there are pros and cons to each method.
The Van Halen Trading Community does seem to be big on Trees. |
