I posted this in the wrong area. Please disregard that one and use the info here!
OK, gang! Starting today and running through Friday, I’ll take names for the new 16mm footage that everyone is the topic of hot discussion lately!
Please follow the directions below. If you don’t, you won’t be added to the list! This is 1 DVD, so I’ll trade for audio, video or 2:1 blank media (DVD-R format discs).
To sign up:
1. Send an email to vhdvdtrade@vanhalenaudioarchive.com before Friday, November 21st.
2. Include your name and mailing address (NOT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!)
3. State whether you wish to be a branch or a leaf
4. If you’re planning to work out a trade, send your list or URL to your list
5. If you’re sending blanks, please state “BLANKS� in your email
Since it takes too much time to go after everybody that doesn’t send the proper info, I will NOT include anyone that sends an email and doesn’t include all of the requested information. I don't check in here often, but I do check my email regularly. Therefore, if you post a reply here, you will also not be added to the list.

Just an update:
I ran this DVD tree here and on the vhtrade mailing list as well. I have four branches so far from the people that have signed up here, but the people from the mailing list have only produced 1 branch and about 15 leafs. Would anyone object if I just combined the two groups of people and spread out the names? It seems people on the mailing list don't have DVD burners. :irked:

Entry is officially closed for this tree and I will be gathering up all of the names that have included all of the proper info and putting the tree together. A couple additional notes:
1. Many (MANY) people wanted to be a leaf and to trade for blank discs, so I will work with the branches on evening this out between us all. For the bulk of the people who want to trade for blanks, I'll probably just set it up so that you can send me 2 blank DVD-R discs and when I receive them, I'll burn and return your disc. In the mean time, those that are trading can move forward. Does this sound like a good plan?
2. As I stated before, if I didn't receive all of the info I requested originally, you won't be added to this tree. I have noticed many people who sent their lists and an email address and that's all I have. If that's the case, you'll have to work something out with me, one of the branches or someone else with burning capabilities after we take care of this tree.
3. I have decided to merge all of the entries into one large group (from the Forums here and from the vhtrade mailing list), rather than try to put branches and leafs from the same area together.
I'll put the tree together this weekend and post it here and through the vhtrade mailing list.
I have NOT received the disc yet, so there is no rush for anyone. Nothing is in the mail or even copied on my end yet, so we have time for everyone to work out trades.
