Hi - I'm new to this ("newbie"). I have been a VH fan for many years (attended Diver Down, 1984, 5150, OU812, etc. tours). I am interested in starting my collection with a Dave era concert. Any one have the time to help out? Also, I'd like a recommendation on what is considered the "best" Dave-era bootleg concert.

| I guess I'd have to ask a question first. Are you looking for a typical DLR show with good quality, or some unique tracks that are seldom heard by the masses ? ;) |

Hi and Welcome to the forum :)
I'd say VH rapes Stockholm 8/25/84 is one of the ones to get or in honor of HalenUpNorth, one of my personal favs: "VH assualts Montreal 1982".

Wow! Thanks for all the feedback. Yerfdog - I guess I would prefer a typical Dave show (high quality sound). While we're on the topic - what is the best Dave show with rare tracks? Also, will you do a 2:1 CDR on your recommendations?
