Something I noticed at the Chicago show...I saw two mics stage left pointed at the crowd. I know bands record their shows all the time for their own purposes but if they do it to critique their own performance, they usually don't need to mic the crowd. In a pre tour interview I read (can't remember where) Alex made a passing reference to the possibility of selling CDs of the shows. On their last US tour, the Who sold live CDs but they didn't announce that until after the tour was underway and only sold the discs through their website. Could VH be in line to do the same thing? I might be reading too much into the mic thing but it was interesting to see them there so maybe there's an official live release of individual shows or maybe a DVD at some point in the future. We can only hope.

Sammy has been recording his shows for years. At the beginning of the tour an interview with Sammy and Alex mentioned a possible live album or live DVD being released at the end of the tour. I believe it was Sammy who mentioned they could even release recordings of each show, ala The Who, KISS, Peter Gabriel, Duran Duran, Primus, Metallica ... the list goes on and on ... but since nothing ever came of it I haven't paid it much attention. I think they are probably recording every show for the possible live album or DVD.

At the Greensboro show, I was standing right next to the sound boards and there were audience mics set up. Hmmm..... ;)
