I'm a branch in the Hagar solo tree #2, and I haven't received my discs yet. I've contacted a couple of other branches, and no one has anything or knows what the hold-up is. I've got leaves that I'm supposed to give the show to, but I can't give what I don't have.

Does anyone have any idea where the discs are, who has them, and what we can do to actually make the tree happen??? It's been weeks now and no word.

I received my discs from Blu on 8-24, and sent vcr5150(Vaughn) his copies on 8-26....

It is 9 discs, and the way this tree is structured, it's gonna take a little time before they reach everyone.........patience, patience...... :)

Yeah, I ran the first 9 disc tree. It takes a few days for some to copy that many.

Think about it, if you have 3 leaves, thats 27 discs. It :(

Guys, I understand the patience thing. But, the Super Big-Time Tree involved TEN discs, and I sent three of the four sets (I'm still waiting for one of my leaves to give me his address, his discs are packaged up and ready to go) out last week (or the week before, I can't remember).

The thing that's really concerned me hasn't been the wait, it's the fact that no one I've contacted has had any idea what's going on or knows where the discs are, and hasn't heard anything. NO ONE I've e-mailed has received any notice on where things are or when they'll get the discs.

Patience is one thing. Communication is another, and that's the part that's concerned me. I'm not mad, I was just concerned that the tree wasn't going anywhere. This is the first answer I've been able to get.

Some folks are getting overloaded I think, patience is the key right now. I've got literally a pile of stuff to mail, and I'm home right now with a serious cold, head exploding. Time folks. :thumb:

I'll say it again - I don't mind waiting. What was concerning me was that NO ONE (that means not a single person) I'd e-mailed had received the discs or had received any word whatsoever regarding when they were going to receive them. No one I e-mailed had any idea where things were, who had the discs and who didn't, or when they were going to be getting theirs.

If I'd gotten any kind of solid information at all, I never would have posted this topic. I understand the need for patience. Hopefully everyone who's telling us to have patience also understands the need for information so we can know that discs definitely are out there somewhere and are coming down the tree at some point.

Patience I understand. No one having any idea where things stood? Not a good sign.

I assume that the next level of people who are getting the discs know about it. Now; if you're not on that level, you won't know. If those secondary branches haven't contacted their leaves and one branch; well, that's up to them. Some people wait until they have them and some don't. I wait. If somebody way down the line doesn't know what's going on they'll have to get over it. Or, they could ASK somebody higher up if they really want to know and can't wait. I'm a leaf on no less than 5 things right now and I couldn't tell you the status of any of them but one. When my higher up gets it and contacts me; great.

If somebody is THAT concerned with the status of this tree they could have EASILY e-mailed their branch; that person's branch or me.

In the end; it's a littlte piece of plastic; let's not all get worked up. It took me a tad to get the original mega tree. I never asked once; I knew I'd get it eventually. Same for the big 10cd tree. I didn't know anything until my branch contacted me, and I never worried once. I accept that some people have things to do other than burn cd's and that big trades will take time; lots of time. It would be nice if all of us where single, had no kids or jobs that take up way more than 8 hours of the day. I personally will go DAYS without getting online let alone burn a buttload of cd's in one day. Everybody is different and shouldn't be held to the standards of a person that can get 5 million cd's out in a week; it's just that simple.

I'm a branch, and I contacted two or three other branches and the person above that, so I did exactly what you're recommending. I started this topic out of concern and respect for my leaves (they asked me if I knew where things were, and I told them I didn't know, but that I would find out; so I tried to find out and no one knew).

I'm not trying to hold people to any kind of standard (nor should I be expected to hold to anyone else's), although I fail to see how getting things done quickly is a bad thing. If you don't have time to burn discs, why volunteer to be in a tree?

That's cool and I agree. But, nobody contacted me about it and I'm the head dingleberry here!LOL

As far as I knew at the time of the initial post; only my two under branches had it or was getting ready to get it. They might have wanted to get the cd's burned before contacting anybody; who knows. (that's how I do it)

I know that I personally don't go back and check the tree threads; I wait for my branch person to tell me he's got them and he's ready. Some do it ahead of time and some don't. I suppose it's up to the individual branch on how. Of course, if something does happen it WILL get fixed!!!!!!!!
