Van Halen's October.30/04 concert was the very last at the old barn Winnipeg Arena.
The music was just perfect and as loud and loudest show I have been to in years...they rocked the house down till the end...my wife's ears are still ringing from the show, even though it happened 3 days ago. I was deeply disappointed in Edward's condition, he was as wasted as he could have been in 20 years...sure he was alright drunk when he was younger....but after beating cancer and almost turning 50 years old, it was something I was really embarrased about....the fans did not seem to react the way they used to when they've played here in the past...Edward is my guitar god, but man...what a prick....he tried to dazzle the audience after the band took their bow right before the encore-he'd go while raising his arms in the air..."yeah...yeah...YEAH" then after that he'd tell the audience..."Ssshhhh"...he was pretty rude to his fans in Winnipeg, and it was like he wanted to get the show over and done with...man, they played 11 songs in under 30 minutes....seriously everyone saw the tension starting to rise between Sammy and Edward and I definetly think Sam will be leaving from the group after the tour.....Edward was drunk the whole show.....his 20 minute guitar solo really was a bore....shit......5,000 tickets were sold.....the rest were given away because of poor ticket sales...but I'm sorry to say, things aren't the same with Sammy and Edward...the fans just weren't into it.....maybe because it was our last concert...but Ed didn't seem to care...I do feel that this tour is the worst ever.....pretty much Greed, more money,Sammy just sat on the drumkit half the show signing autographs.....Mike did not move around much...Alex was the only one who kicked ass...he really rocked the 'Peg..his drums never sounded better, I'm glad the music was just Phenomenal.
Oh yeah...Sammy Hagar will be gone after this tour, he's had enough of Eddie Van Halen's bull!! :( :( :(

Someone is reporting on one of the other boards an after show "near brawl" between Ed and Sammy. I think this was at the Fargo show? Apparently witnessed by many, including local DJ's and writers, etc. Crew had to separate the two, or rather had to hold Sammy back. He was apparently about to do some serious damage to Ed.

Perhaps someone here has more on this? I know there are a couple of insiders, or near-insiders who know insiders, 'round these parts.
