Ok its probably old news to everyone but apparently Gene Simmons used the Van Halen brothers to record the demo for his solo effort, but the songs were used on a later Kiss record Love Gun. I beleive it was three tracks the following 'Christine Sixteen', 'Got Love For Sale' and 'Tunnel Of Love'
Is this true?, Does anyone have them?
I am not talking about the demo he made 'Zero' with the Van Halen band. |

| It is true. However Gene had Al and Ed play on the demos that were intentioned for Love Gun (not his solo LP) after Kiss returned from Japan in 76. The demos are locked away somewhere in Kiss/Gene's vault. They were supposed to be on the Kiss box set, but Gene could not get clearance (presumably from VH management or Ed and Al themselves) to release them |
