??? What kind of disc
did you use on this "Tree"
Acoustic Viscosity ...?

As far as I know, they are Taiyo Yuden CD-R's -- they are supposed to be very high quality / long lasting. I sure hope they are, because they were some of the most expensive discs on newegg.com.

If any of you branches determine they are not Taiyo Yuden, please let me know. They seem to work great for me, but if you have a problem with them, let me know, and I will reburn them on something else.

Has any of Marfish's other leaves gotten a reponse from him? All of my attempts to contact him seem to be ignored. I'm about to give up here.

TY discs are Grade A and very, very good discs. Assuming they are TY you won't find any better !

^Yeah, that's what I thought. I purposely shopped for TY's. So as long as Newegg didn't screw me over, that is what they are.

Here is the info from Newegg.com:
MEDIA CD-R|TAIYO 52X PRT 100PK $30.00
(Serial#: 17-172-110/0)

I read somewhere that the bare silver top discs aren't as protected, so I opted for the discs with white matte finish tops. I don't recall any commercial wrapping around the spool when it arrived. There's just a sticker that has the same info as what I typed above plus this:
R80/WP/52X/08

An update for my leaves. I volunteered for overtime this week (always nice to have extra Christmas cash), so I didn't get the shows sent out on thursday like I though I would. I have to copy one more of the shows and I'll put them in the mail on Monday.

I'm still waiting to hear from uncle ted.

Just wanted to drop a line and say I got my CD's today and these are really great sounding shows. I wanted to thank my Branch(Rodney) who did a great job in keeping me in the loop...having this many CD's in a Tree is not easy. Also, thanks to everyone who helped get these shows out into circulation...great stuff.
