I have made a trade with a Ric Tuttle about 2 months ago for 9 Kiss DVD's, and have yet to receive anything from him. He got my end of the bargain, but nothing here. He said he sent them, but I never received anything. So then he tells me, he will resend again, and guess what nothing. So now when I try to email him at Dylan4prezzz@aol.com <Dylan4prezzz@aol.com> I get a message back saying the address is unknown. Go figure that one out. Anyway the funny thing is I did trade with him in the past, and had no problems. So If anybody knows how to get in touch with this person or knows his new address? Please let me know....

Thanks,
An Unhappy Trader

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to let everyone that Ric Tuttle contacted me the other night. He said he would resend for the 3rd time w/delivery confirmation this time. So I am excited that I will be getting my Kiss DVD's. Rick, sorry I jumped the gun here a little. I was just worried because I haven't received anything in 2 months, but like people say good things come to those that wait.

UPDATE

Well since Ric Tuttle contacted me last, I believe it was a little over a month ago now. Saying he was going to resend for a third time and include delivery confirmation. Suprise, I still have not received anything, and to top it all off his email address is not working again. So now what am I supposed to believe? 3 Months have gone by now, and nothing. I would have to say I been screwed... If his email has changed, and he was going to send anything why didn't I receive notification about anything coming or the fact that his email was changing, and know his new address? I guess I'll never know.

Just out of curiousity, do we have posted "standards" on this subject? I mean, I think it might be best if we got a page together with an agreed upon check-list of items that could cause us to black-list a trader. Then, when you trade with someone, you can let them know this information up front, and if they don't meet the requirements, their trading status will be ruined basically. We would also need to keep up a master list of bad traders as opposed to just mentioning the name on the boards here.

Obviously, the "check-list" needs to be allow for situations, but zero contact for 1/4th of a year is a bit extreme. Granted, there are circumstances for people, but I've found most people are understanding if the lines of communication are open.

Questions? Comments?

I don't think the purpose of this forum is to black list. It's more about putting up advisories than anything else. And if a bunch of people chime in and say, "Yeah he screwed me too" (e.g. Scott Hammock), things will take care of themselves.

I understand your point, but the problem with that is some people (like myself), never hit this part of the forums that often. So it'd be very easy for myself to get screwed over without going on an active search of the person.

And honestly, that's why I rarely contact anyone I don't know first. If others contact me first, they send first. If I contact someone, generally it's someone who's been referred to me by someone else I trust. Of course I had to start at square one at some point, so in the beginning I did all the contacting, so I guess this is good for newbies. But on the other hand, if you're a newbie you won't have anything these scumbags want anyway.
