Thanks to the illustrious and mighty Matt Brown in Seattle, I got in on this tree.
i gotta say: Dan & his posse have done it again. This is totally ENJOYABLE. Above & beyond in the Attention-to-details Department, as usual. This ranks up there with the Floor Em At The Forum 1982 2-dvd set they authored.
THANK YOU for taking the care to get this as good as it is, Dan. And, THANK YOU to Mr. Brown for being a helluva guy (speedy, too!).
as Dave used to say "You people have got a f*cking LOT to be proud of, maaaaaaaannnnn ..."

awright. i might've spoke too soon ... since i had only seen the first 10 minutes or so. i had forgotten ...
KEYBOARDS. during Panama ... Everybody Wants Some ... oyoyoy (and, wasn't it Dave who told EVH to lose the keyboards a couple years earlier?) WTF??
i remember now that I left the show (LA, Dec. 86?) , went to the lounge at the Forum, after hearing lameass keybds and crummy backup vox ... very disappointed.
hokay ... we now return you to your regularly-scheduled program, without further commercial interruption. |
