I like Motley Crue opening with their updated version of Shout At The Devil. Though I think it would be cool to see them open with Live Wire

As for VH, I think they did a very good job of picking their opening songs, their powerful hard rocking tunes, On Fire, Romeo Delight, Unchained, You Really Got Me, Poundcake, and The Seventh Seal. I thought it was a wise move to open with Jump last year though I do like those shows where YRGM opens, Jump as the opening encore and TOTW and Dreams are switched.

The only other concert(s) I've been to is three Hagar shows, still waiting for Dave to come around. When I saw Sammy in 2001, I think he opened with Space Station #5, then this year of course it was Shaka Doobie for the 100,000,000th time.

Van Halen opened with "Panama" at least once during the Balance Tour in New York.

Whoa! Nice to read this. I love Megadeth and Dave Mustaine is the greatest Heavy Metal philosopher of all times, IMHO. :thumb:

My favorite was DLR opening with HFT and Van Halen opening with the Unchained/Romeo Delight combo.

Great question!!

Van Halen-Romeo Delight. KILLER live tune used to open nearly all the Diver Down shows.

Guns N Roses-Nighttrain.

Metallica-Blackened or Breadfan.

Living Colour-Middle Man.

Motley Crue-Dr. Feelgood or Looks That Kill.

Saw Page and Plant on tour both times out and both times they kicked off the show hard with "The Wanton Song".......one of my favorites anyway, which made the opening even hotter.
