Noticed the site was pretty slow this afternoon. Examples:

One post in the thread, took this long to load the page:
Page generation time: 22.4877s (PHP: 60% - SQL: 40%) - SQL queries: 19 - GZIP enabled - Debug on
A reload got me this:
Page generation time: 14.7753s (PHP: 87% - SQL: 13%) - SQL queries: 16 - GZIP enabled - Debug on
To load the main forums page took me this long:
Page generation time: 34.0139s (PHP: 87% - SQL: 13%) - SQL queries: 19 - GZIP enabled - Debug on
Is this just a bad time of the day, or the onset of something more serious? |

Ron...mine is loading fine...what I would suggest is calling your internet provider and asking where you can send more money for such good service...I have the same problems with my stuff at my home...cable is slow or out...I have to call them all the time and ask for credits...it has now gotten to be a routine with me...I hate them so much...the $$ don't equate to the time spent saving them...its just the principal with me..sorry you are having that kind of fun!...my office here has sbc dsl and it cranks! I do most of my stuff from here because I do not know when my cable will work at home.

Yes..I will agree that it does load slower that some...but the content is so good!..those other billions of web sites ...they dont have what we have!..and our band is getting older and slower :uhoh:

| Usually takes between 2.5-3 seconds for an average page to load for me, but I have noticed it taking anywhere from 8 to 10 seconds tonight. The server load on the web server looks high currently. I'm guessing that it's another one of the sites hosted on here that's causing the usual mediocre speed of the boards to really be pitiful. |
