I have been waiting on discs from Gary for 2 months now,in that time he has changed his email and I was unable to contact him until I did some research,I beleive he has blatantly tried to rip me off,here are the latest emails between us,this is the first time I have been ripped off and not received my end,and want everyone to know that this guy isn't above board

ME:Hello Gary,it has now been 7 weeks and the DVDs still haven't arrived,these
are the discs in question below,I have since got the Metallica show,and was
hoping you may be able to replace it with something else of my choosing if
possible,please contact me regarding this,thanks Dave

Gary:HI David: How are you doing today? It is unusual your discs would not have
arrived by now, as I sent them with first class postage. Why don't you give
it at least another week and if nothing arrives by then I should be able to
redo them, but I would have to ask you to cover the cost of the postage and
the blank discs.
I have done over 200 trades and have never come across this problem before.

Drop me a line at your convenience and let me know what you think.

Me:Hello Gary,I will wait another week but I won't be paying for you to post
them out,if you refuse to I will be left with no choice but to take it to
the boards,if they arrive by next Tuesday fine,otherwise I request that you
send them global priority,this will cost $5 to do,and will arrive in 5 days
from the postal date,thanks David

Gary:I have heard from other traders that you are very ignorant to deal with and
this will be the last time I email you. I have dealt with another trader in
Austarlia for over 8 years named David Campbell and he never tried to pull
the stunts that you are. He is a wonderful trader but he warned me about
you. There is nothing I hate more than a dishonest trader and now I
understand why you have been booted from the VH forums. Go ahead and do what
you will but I will put my reputation up against yours any day. I refuse to
resend large orders world wide at my expense. I sent your DVD's 6 or 7 weeks
ago and if they are lost in the mail blame the post office not me. I am
willing to redo them but not at my expense. I regret it had to come to this
but you are the person that wants thing to end on a bad note.

P.S.- If you want to badmouth me on the forums I will be happy to do the
same for you. I am not some kid, I am a 46 year old father of 4 and I am
very well repected in the trading community. Funny thing you all of a sudden
have the Metallica I sent you on your trade list?!?! Have a good life...

Just for the record I have never heard of a trader called David Campbell :confused:

Gary a bad trader??????? Say it isn't so. I have traded with Gary 3 to 4 times and never had any troubles. As a matter of fact when i was having to run back and forth to the hospital to see my mom all my trades got put to the side for almost 2 weeks and Gary was one of them. That just happened to be our first trade and there was no trouble at all. Also try as i might i can never get my packages to him as fast as he gets me mine. I consider him a top notch trader. Of course he is only 7 hours down the road so i could go knock on his door ;) ;) I'm not here to stick up for anyone this is just my experience with Gary. Happy trading all :thumb: :thumb:

Gary was my Branch for the recent Scorpions tree and it was also our first trade. The trade completed with no problem. :thumb: Like Mike said...this is just my experience with Gary and not because I'm sticking up for a fellow Canadian. ;)

I'm with Mike & Tony on this one.

Gary & I have dealt a few times over the last number of months. There has never been a problem, no matter who was seed or who was branch.

Every trade has been a :thumb:

I'm not Canadian and have traded with Gary many times. We've had a few trades where discs didn't work properly or were damaged etc. The usual stuff. Never had a problem getting it sorted out.

Until we hear Directly from Gary about this, he is still in good standing in my book. I have talked and traded with Gary, always went well.

you have also traded with me Tone on a couple of occasions if my memory serves me correctly and both our trades have been great :)

i have contacted gary to let him know whats going on, so lets give him time to defend himself and get his side of the story.

VanHagar - if I am reading your initial message correctly, you have

a. Been banned from these forums under a different username.
b. Asked Gary to send you a different disc to replace the one that (allegedly) never arrived because you got it in "another" trade.

Just checking.

I've never trade directly with Gary but he was a sub-branch in a tree I ran and as fas as I know he came through.

yes I was previously banned under the name Ozzman,this was due to a flaming war from another forum that members of this forum have contacted me saying they thought it was wrong since I didn't retalliate and not due to my trading record,this is why Gary probably thinks he could rip me off,because he thought I wouldn't be able to let the people on this forum know what happened regarding our trade,I just want people to know the truth of the matter so they will know who they are trading with in advance of making a decision to

I would be more than happy to put this to rest if Gary did the right thing and sent me the discs,I really didn't want to do this,it is always a last resort,there are no winners in this kind of situation

ps there are 8 discs in question,1 being a replacement for a bad burn from our previous trade

All I ask is to have this heard out and if the mods want to me to leave once it is sorted I will do as they wish

Tap- you are correct! VanHager was banned a day or 2 after he signed up, he initially used the handle "Ozzman". He was banned for making up lies about traders and generally causing a lot of problems here. HE IS NOT HONEST- Do NOT TRADE WITH HIM!
Davis Cain or as he calls himself Vanhagar tried to email members to trade after he got banned by the forums. I had the good sense to delete his email. I do not believe anything he said about Gary (rod munch)- I have had over 10 trades with Gary and he never let me down. As everyone knows here Gary is very honest and VanHagar (Ozzman) should be banned again as he is nothing but a trouble maker. Just my humble opinion but I am going to contact Scott and tell him to get rid of David Caine (VanHagar, Ozzman) before he destroys the reputation of honest users here and possibly gets this site shut down.
