Just out of curiosity, I did a little checking on the net... and there are several sites selling Green Hornet DVDs. Some of them look like fly-by-night operations - but the list also includes Amazon.com.

If VHTrading gets nailed with a lawsuit for people swapping these DVDs, that'll be the end of the site unless Scott makes a helluva lot more money than I think he does.

Although I doubt that these are copies of the actual official releases (this series was rebroadcast on tv in 1994 - and I suspect that's where these were sourced) - they will be looked upon by the powers that be in Hollywood as pirate copies.

EZTree got shutdown because a couple of video clips in a Nirvana DVD compilation had eventually been released officially. The band's music distributor's lawyers didn't contact the website administrators - they went to the website's ISP and put the scare in them.

It's now called Dimeadozen and they are to the point where if there is an officially released studio track playing at the beginning of a concert (music the soundman is playing to keep the crowd entertained while waiting for the band to come on), then they will ban that torrent. This probably sounds like an extreme measure - but due to the current state of affairs in the lawsuit-happy entertainment industry - they feel it's necessary. I've had two torrents banned there. One because a promo video clip that I added at the end of a concert video had been released officially (although the clip I added was from a television broadcast) and the other because someone said the band might release the video in the future (nothing specific - just a maybe).

I hate being a stick in the mud - but I think treeing these Green Hornet DVDs is dangerous to the health of this website.

these are not commercially available, all sites are selling boots....
however as i said on the batman tree, i was concerned about these as at some point they are copyrighted.
there was so many that asked about green hornet that i went and looked for it.
BUT, fucking with this site is the last thing i want to do, as many of you know, i hope :)

if this is deemed in any way to be uncool, please with my blessing, kill it

ps.. for what its worth i did not include list of these on my list... its for the boys i swear!

oh and there is NO tv icon our logo on these, i think they came from masters, but a few gen down

Perhaps the sites selling the 26 episode sets are selling boots, but I'm sure the one at Amazon.com is official - and it includes four episodes and a partial clip or two from other episodes. So any of the disks that include one of these four episodes (or the partial clips) is subject to a claim of piracy.

I THINK MAYBE A OPTION, AS POINTED OUT TO ME, WOULD BE TO TAKE NAMES OFF LIST AND THEN DELETE THIS THREAD
