I've tried it out with test accounts, sending PMs back and forth, sending blank ones and quoted ones and on and on...I still don't see any problems myself. Could anyone who is having problems sending or receiving PM-ing please e-mail me with as many details as possible? I'm looking for is:
- The time and date of the sent/replied-to private messages
- Who you're attempting to PM or who you can't receive PMs from
- The sender/sendee's forums member numbers
- What kind of content the PM(s) had (quotes, blanks, numerous paragraphs of text, or short responses)
- What page/link/button you clicked on to send or receive the PM
- Or whatever else you could provide me.
With this info, I'll take a look in the database and see if I can't nail down this thing. Thanks! |

| Anyone else have any specific details, especially extremely recent PM screw-ups? Right now I don't have a whole lot to go on, and the more have the better. :) |

Hi Scott.
I've had a coupla people say they've PM'd me but they haven't showed up in my inbox. I get the usual emails I get saying there's a message in my inbox at VHTrading, but when I get to my inbox there's nothing there.
I might add that this seems to be random, coz there are PMs that have got thru to my inbox.

I had the same problem a few days around Xmastime. Got the email saying I had a PM, but nothing was in my inbox.
But I haven't had any problems the last few weeks. |

I've also had the same problem ; I get an e-mail at home saying I've a private message, and when I come to check messages there's nothing new in my "inbox".
Weird, but not a huge issue as far as I'm concerned. :) |
