I recently unpacked a collection of vintage Circus (and 1Creem Mag) I had in storage for years. I have 3 Van Halen covers available and many others. Some of these are over 25 years old and in very good condition. Most still have subscription forms attached inside! Some have address label remnants and others don't.
Most mags are in EXCELLENT condition; no lose or missing pages;complete; no tears, folds or creases; no address labels. They've been stored in a dry, smoke-free environment for years. The Van Halen cover issues are:
• Circus Sept.30, 1982 "Arena Rock" w/David Lee Roth cover and 2-page story
w/color photos
• Circus May 13, 1980 "Van Halen" main story and David Lee Roth cover
(pg.23-27 w/color and b&w photos)
• Best of Creem Summer 1981 Van Halen cover w/"Shriek Attack" story pg.49-57
w/ many colorful pics
• Circus May 31,1983 David Lee Roth cover.pg33-35 story w/full color photos.(**missing center Billy Squire poster**)
I also have 4 other Circus Mags w/either a small cover shot of a Van Halen member or no Van Halen member...but they have good articles and color photos of the band (Circus issues Oct.31 1983, July 31 1981, July 31 1983, August 31 1983).
As for "non Van Halen" issues...email me what you're looking for. Looking to sell. No more storage room! |
